A Note to Readers

Because of computer problems, the introduction will be brief.

The U.S. Drought Monitor if followed by more on the topic of drought, floods, weather and climate.

There were very few and even fewer large forest fires this year, and one article tells the story.

Two articles on the developments in regard to the Colorado follow.

Then there is this: “The Conundrum of the Green New Deal and the EV Mandate.” Since mining for the minerals uses lots of water, and the best mines for the minerals required for EVs and solar panels are located in the West, the ongoing water shortages in the western states creates a serious problem.

The Feature this week is a video by my associate Brian Lantz, that is a lesson in real physical economy– industry, electricity, water, the education of a new and skilled workforce to build “hundreds and hundreds, and hundreds” of power plants, using coal, gas, oil and nuclear.
